Regina Daniels has reacted to claims by one Jude Ojeogwu who claimed to be the actress’ father.
Daniels who traditionally wedded Billionaire Businessman, Ned Nwoko recently took to her page to ‘doubt’ that she has a father.
“Every D**k and Harry Claiming to be my father. That’s if I have one. Yo! I know who my father is”, she wrote on her page.
Recall one Jude claimed he is Regina’s father, and he never consented to the marriage she had with Ned Nwoko.
Read our Initial report below;
Regina Daniels Father, Jude Ojeogwu has reacted to the wedding of his biological daughter, whose traditional wedding is said to hold today, in Delta state… and he has said he’s not aware of his daughter’s recent developments.
According to him, all that is going on now in his daughter’s life, is without his consent. He says her mother, Rita, is threading on a dangerous path and hopes she retraces her steps.
Taking to his Facebook page, moments ago, to share a throwback photo of the actress by his side, he says the whole initiation ceremony the actress indulged few days ago is strange and is not her culture.
He wrote,
Regina daniel Ojeogwu is my biological daughter.What ever is ongoing is not to my knowledge and without my consent.The fact speaks for itself looking at the picture. Her mother Rita daniel is threading on a dangerous path and I hope she will retrace her steps. Even the initiation ceremony into otu odu appears completely strange to Regina daniel Ojeogwu.Regina is from ogwashi uku and not from olor as being rumored. All the opportunities for Mr Ned nwoko to discuss with me proved abortive not realising that we once lived in the same house in awoyokun street, onikpan, Lagos.The implication of all this is that she inpregnated herself. The name Regina was my late mother’s name. I have tried to exercise restraint but Regina mother kept pushing me to wall. Am alive and not dead. Court sacks Regina Daniels’ husband as senator-elect
Regina Daniels‘ husband, Ned Nwoko, has been sacked by the Court of Appeal sitting in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital.
The court in a decision on Thursday said the case instituted at the Abuja Division of the Federal High Court which resulted in the recognition of Mr Nwoko as the winner of the election by the Independent National Electoral Commission was wrongly filed.
The appellate court ruled that the matter ought to have been brought at the lower court before the expiration of 14 days from the time of the incidence that birthed the suit.
It further ruled that the failure of the applicant at the lower court to file the case before the expiration of 14 days meant that the case had become statute barred and the lower court lacked jurisdiction to entertain the matter in the first place.
“As at the time the matter was instituted at the Federal High Court, the case was statute barred. We set aside the decision of the Federal High Court and strike out the case,” the court ruled.
INEC had withdrawn the certificate of return it issued to Mr Nwoko’s contender Peter Nwaoboshi, following the FHC decision.
With the appeal court decision, Mr Nwaoboshi will now be recognised as the senator-elect for the district.
Messrs Nwoko and Nwaoboshi are both of the PDP and had contested for the ticket of the party in the primaries. The PDP later won the senatorial election in the district with Mr Nwaoboshi as its candidate.
After the initial high court ruling, INEC withdrew the certificate issued to Mr Nwaoboshi and presented same to Mr Nwoko; a decision that would now be reversed based on the appeal court ruling.
